Tania Hassanzadeh, MD, is a fellowship-trained Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon in Beverly Hills, CA. She graduated with honors in Neuroscience from Duke University in Durham, NC and completed her medical degree at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, where she was one of few graduates inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society for top academic performance.
She subsequently underwent rigorous training in Otolaryngology—Head & Neck Surgery at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA, where she discovered her passion for aesthetic and reconstructive surgery including rhinoplasty, facial trauma repair, and reconstruction after Mohs surgery for skin cancer resection.
During this time, she received institutional and regional accolades for her clinical research, including outcomes after cleft palate surgery and the role of gender and race in the specialty of Head & Neck Surgery.
Dr. Hassanzadeh was then selected through a highly competitive match for a dual fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Boston Medical Center and The Spiegel Center under Dr. Jeffrey Spiegel—world-renowned for his pioneering work in facial feminization surgery and facial rejuvenation—and Craniomaxillofacial Surgery through the AO North America Foundation.
During this time, she instructed resident physicians and future surgeons as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology—Head & Neck Surgery at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine with a focus on aesthetic, functional, and revision rhinoplasty and reconstructive surgery after traumatic facial injury. While in fellowship, she received grant funding for her research on human upper lip anatomy to enhance lip augmentation and lift techniques.
Dr. Hassanzadeh is passionate about restoring confidence and natural beauty to her patients through surgical and non-surgical modalities. She is known for her warm demeanor and empathetic approach, and she believes every patient visit should end with a smile. She offers the full breadth of injectable, radiofrequency, and laser treatments, and surgical procedures including complex rhinoplasty, deep-plane or vertical facelift, lateral brow lift, eyelid lift or blepharoplasty, lip lift, and comprehensive facial feminization surgery.
She has partnered with Nazarian Plastic Surgery in Beverly Hills and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles to ensure exceptional care for all her patients.
