From there, Dr. Hassanzadeh will mark the injection sites and begin your injections. Depending on the type of HA filler used, you might feel a slight pinprick of pain, but most patients tolerate it quite well.
How many injections you need will depend on the results you’re looking for. Treatment typically takes 10-20 minutes.
Hyaluronic Acid Filler Recovery
Once all your injections are finished, you’ll be able to go back to your normal routine immediately. You will likely have some swelling, redness, or bruising, but those side effects will subside over the next day or two.
After injections, you will want to avoid putting pressure on the treatment area, performing strenuous activities, and drinking alcohol for 24 hours.
